🧐 What 'Da Heck Is a Riggin’ Rally?

A Cowboy preps his arm brace as a bareback rider in the sport of rodeo. In this case, the 2nd Annual Quaide Skjonsberg Invitational Riggin' Rally held out of Rimbey, Alberta.

If you’ve been watching my recent reels and thinking,

“Okay
but what am I actually looking at?”

— you’re not alone đŸ«”

I’ve had a few messages lately asking the same thing:

đŸ€·â€â™‚ïžÂ â€œWhat 'da heck is a Riggin’ Rally?”

Fair question. It’s not exactly something you stumble across at your average New Year’s Eve party — unless your idea of ringing in the New Year involves bareback riders 🙃

So let’s break it down.

🌠 Not Your Average Rodeo Night

The Riggin’ Rally — in this particular case it was the 2nd Annual Quaide Skjonsberg Invitational Riggin’ Rally

This was an invite-only bareback riding event.

No big arenas. No massive production. No fluff 💹

Just riders, stock, and a deep respect for the craft.

It’s raw. It’s intentional. And it’s built for the riders.

đŸ€šÂ So
 What’s With the Name?

In bareback riding, the riggin’ is the handle — the one piece of equipment that connects the rider to 1,500 pounds of muscle, attitude, and opinions 🐮

Why It Hits Different

There’s a quiet intensity in the building.

A mutual understanding that everyone there knows what it takes to nod their head đŸ«Ł

This is rodeo stripped down to its bones.

So Now You Know

If you’re still confused?

That’s okay đŸ€Šâ€â™€ïž

Stick around.

🎬 I’ll keep showing you.

See you in the dirt,

Bel
